HOW DOES #TXEDTUESDAY WORK?

#TxEdTuesday is a social media campaign designed to brag on the great things happening in Texas public schools while engaging our state legislators. Tweet and post great things about your district and tag your state representatives and senators. Use #TxEdTuesday to ensure that your posts are in the campaign.

TELL IT
Tell your school’s story. Thank the legislators that support your students, families and teachers. Use photos and videos to engage your friends and colleagues.

TAG IT
Tag your state representatives and senators. It is very important that you use the hashtag #TxEdTuesday to be included in the campaign. The @TxEdTuesday Twitter account will be following and re-tweeting the hashtag posts along the way.

SHARE IT
Share and re-tweet positive stories you see from other school districts. Let’s support each other and public education in Texas.

GOAL
Each Tuesday, the goal is to have at least 1,000 POSTS using #TxEdTuesday on both Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.
