Join the Movement for Texas Public Schools Membership Options

At Friends of Texas Public Schools, we’re building more than awareness. We’re building trust, momentum, and a statewide network of people who believe in public education and are ready to defend it.

Whether you're an individual advocate, a family of proud public school supporters, or a school district seeking community tools, your membership fuels the work of amplifying the real story of Texas public schools.

For School Districts: Network Membership

$500/year

Make your district’s voice heard! Your membership is a commitment to leadership, trust, and positive action in Texas public education. As a member, you help us in our mission to support and promote your great work! Network Members enjoy:

✓ A Friends/Texas Pod

A cohort of up to 10 district participants in Eight Weeks to Trust: weekly conversation-based sessions that build trust and feed into statewide storytelling.

✓ Advocacy Toolbox

Comprehensive toolkit including messaging templates, narrative exercises, and storytelling resources, curated to help district leaders confidently build trust and tell their story.

✓ Visibility & Amplification

We feature member districts in newsletters, social media, and statewide outreach—celebrating your successes and putting your district’s stories in front of policy makers and communities.

✓ Digital Poster Download: Our iconic posters—now digital!

You can download, print, or share them with your staff, school board, or community. It’s a simple way to start a conversation about what public schools really offer. Posters will be available to all members in fall 2025.

✓ Strategic Support & Guidance

Access our team for help with messaging rollouts, board presentations, storytelling campaigns, or content for community engagement.

✓ Statewide Movement Access

Be part of a growing network of district leaders committed to reclaiming the narrative and reshaping the conversation about public education in Texas.

✓ Early Access to Initiatives

Priority invites to future pilot programs, statewide convenings, and the Superintendent Advisory Council.

Why Now?

Public education is under coordinated attack, but so is public perception. Your membership puts your district at the forefront of building the trust and narrative work that transforms schools’ public image—and sustains public support.

For Individuals & Families: Become a Friend

You don’t have to work in a school to fight for one.

Supporters like you are essential to shifting public perception, growing momentum, and showing that Texans still stand behind public education.
