About the Friends Leadership Advisory Council​

The Friends Leadership Advisory Council (FLAC) is how Friends stays grounded in the real work happening inside Texas public schools.
​
FLAC is evolving from our Superintendent Advisory Council into something broader because the trust-building work we are focused on across Texas needs voices from inside the buildings, not only from the central office. We are widening the seat at the table to include campus-level leaders alongside superintendents: principals, assistant principals, and other district and campus administrators who are close to students, families, and communities every day.

FLAC anchors the Convene function of everything Friends does. Members help us understand what schools and districts are actually facing, surface successes that deserve statewide visibility, and shape where we focus our storytelling, partnerships, and trust-framework work next.
