The 2021 STAAR® test results revealed a significant accomplishment for Texas ISDs, as they outperformed Charter schools in ALL subjects tested. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of educators, administrators, students, and families within our neighborhood school communities.
While test scores are merely one measurement of academic achievement, other factors such as funding, teacher training, and curriculum development also play a role in academic success. By investing in our neighborhood schools and providing adequate resources and support to ISDs, we can ensure that all students have access to quality education, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status.
